Page Turners meets every other month, January-September. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Library; and the next day, Wednesday at 1pm, at the Stoughton Area Senior Center. Books will be available on the top floor display about 6 weeks before each discussion. We will also host Go Big Read discussions in November 2023, dates to be determined.

Jan. 24-25: Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim
An exiled Princess must unravel the curse that turned her six brothers into cranes, assisted by her spurned betrothed, a capricious dragon, and a paper bird brought to life by her own magic.

Mar. 28, Apr 5: Once There Were Wolves by Charlotte McConaghy
Twin sisters lead a team of biologists who plan to re-introduce wolves to the Scottish Highlands. This new setting promises healing from dark secrets the sisters left behind, until a farmer is mauled to death and the townsfolk need someone to blame.
PLEASE NOTE: THE MARCH 29 SESSION HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO APRIL 5

May 23-24: Between Two Kingdoms by Suleika Jaouad
A memoir of the harrowing years the author spent in early adulthood fighting leukemia and how she learned to live again while forging connections with other survivors of profound illness and suffering.

Jul. 25-26: Tenth of December by George Saunders
A collection of stories which includes "Home," a wryly whimsical account of a soldier's return from war; and the title story, in which a suicidal cancer patient saves the life of a young misfit.

Sep. 26-27: The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
A young boy survives an accident which takes his mother’s life, and begins a lifelong obsession with the painting of a goldfinch which bore witness to this tragic moment.

Here is a list of all the 2023 titles.
