Library Seeks Two Interns

Are you a current graduate or undergraduate student who wants to gain experience working with children or teens?

The Stoughton Public Library is hiring two interns for January-August 2020!

Our Teen Services Intern will co-plan and co-present teen programs as well as gain experience staffing the Adult Reference desk and doing teen collection development. This internship is open to a current library school student working toward a Masters in Library and Information Science.

Our K-5 Programming Intern will provide special programs for elementary-school aged children, including a weekly Reading Buddies program which pairs middle school volunteers with K-5 children. This internship is open to any college student (graduate or undergraduate) pursuing a degree that entails working with children, such as Elementary Education or Library and Information Science/Youth Services specialty.
