Placing Vox and Wonderbooks on hold

Did you grow up with read-along storybooks that came with a CD, cassette, or record? The newest generation of read-alongs feature a digital player built right into the book! Here is a tutorial for searching Vox Books and Wonderbooks to share with young readers.

1. Log in to LinkCat. Your library card number is printed below the barcode on your card. Your PIN is usually your birthdate, month and day, no year. For example, if your birthday was January 2, your PIN would be 0102.

2. Search for keyword "audio-enabled book."

3. Feel free to place any of these items on hold and have them sent to Stoughton Library. However, if you want to get items more quickly, you can limit by showing only items we own and have currently available on our shelves.

4. If you'd like to pick up an item as soon as possible, please call 608-873-6281 or email storef@stolib.org so we can grab items for you and set up a hold pickup appointment. If you're not in a big hurry, you can place items on hold and wait for a notification that they're ready. Select the checkbox next to the item(s) you're interested and choose "Place Hold" at the top of the list. In the popup window, confirm that you wish to place the hold. When you receive notification that your hold(s) are available, you can arrange for Curbside Pickup of your materials.
