The Adult Services Department of Stoughton Public Library provides reference,
informational assistance and reader’s advisory services to the Stoughton community and visitors.

Public Services Librarians and Library Assistants are available to assist patrons with inquiries in-person, by telephone, and via e-mail during all hours the library is open to the public.

In addition, access to on-line librarian reference assistance and on-line databases are available at 24/7.

The Lucky Day Collection consists of additional copies of current, high demand and popular best-sellers.

Shelved next to the new books on the 2nd floor, Lucky Day books are available on a walk-in basis only (no holds).
Each book checks out for 7 days and can not be renewed. Should a book be returned late, the fees are $1.00 per day.

This collection has been made possible due to donations from the Friends of the Stoughton Public Library.

The discussions are held the fourth Tuesday of every month from 7 to 8 p.m.
in the library's lower level Carnegie room.

For your convience multiple print copies of each title selection
will be available at the Adult Services Desk approx. one month prior to the discussion.

The Madison Community Foundation grant will allow Stoughton Public Library to focus on significant social issues or
“life transitions". The materials purchased are related to all stages of life from birth, marriage, children, teens, retirement, divorce, health and wellness, death, job loss, relocation, homelessness and other topics. Information and resources on
